Who We Are?

Hello, my name is Stefania Cardazzone. I am of Sicilian origin, but I spent my childhood in Belgium before moving to the enchanting region of Tuscany, Italy. It was there that I discovered my true passion: surfing. For years, I rode the waves with friends, living for the thrill and the connection to the ocean. One day, a friend invited me on a surf trip to the Maldives in just two months. I was bursting with excitement, and when I finally arrived in this paradise, everything changed.

As I stepped onto the sandy shores of the Maldives, I knew I had found the place where I wanted to spend my life. The breathtaking panoramas, the tranquility, and the absence of stress felt like a dream come true. I decided to stay and found work as a manager on a boat, leveraging my previous experience. It was in that moment that my biggest dream came to life: traveling the sea, witnessing the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, surfing perfect waves, and sharing the joy of this stunning nature with others.

After a few years, I met my husband, the Captain, and our story truly began. Together, we poured our hearts into renovating the Blue Dolphin, a cherished family legacy with over 30 years of history passed down from father to son. Each year, we dedicated ourselves to transforming the boat into what you see in our gallery today.

Our family grew with the birth of our first daughter, Aaliyah, now 7 years old, who shares my passion for surfing. Her dream is to become a world champion, and she’s already trained in Hawaii with the father of the reigning four-time world champion. She knows all the best surf spots in the Maldives!

Two years later, we welcomed our son, Prince, who is now 5. He’s very lucky when it comes to catching fish. He wakes up at 4 AM with his father to bring in fresh fish for our guests, happily teaching them how to fish along the way.

Then, I brought my brother to work with us. He’s a talented bartender who has worked all around the world—in places like Dubai, Mykonos, Spain, and Italy. I wanted him here not just to enhance the quality of our team but because it’s always better to work with family!

I share my story because I want you to understand how deeply we love what we do. Our customers come as guests but leave as family.
